The future.  So now if you build your own drone to follow your cat around the neighborhood I guess you will need permission from the government.

Interesting Kathy, I suppose we will see them over here as well soon. Although with some exceptions our airspace is pretty crowded. We do have model helicopters with cameras on sale from toy shops. There are video's on You Tube.

The way this could end up is with fighter drones, to hunt & destroy the enemy's drones.

At worst this technology might be a precursor to something rather ugly. At best and as it is at present an affront to privacy.

The one thing that disturbs me about drones is the potential for atrocity, the pilot is detached from the real world and that can't be a good thing. Throw in a bit of biological targeting & bob's your uncle.

Umm..."nope, not one of ours nothing to do with us"
