I've no doubt we will all see them spying down on us in a few years.Easy brought down with a bit of lead, or possibly blinded with a 1W laser.
The way this could end up is with fighter drones, to hunt & destroy the enemy's drones.
At worst this technology might be a precursor to something rather ugly. At best and as it is at present an affront to privacy.
The one thing that disturbs me about drones is the potential for atrocity, the pilot is detached from the real world and that can't be a good thing. Throw in a bit of biological targeting & bob's your uncle.
