I have tried PS5 and Coral. they are way advanced for what I need. I am currently using paint.net.it works great but it take a while when I add text to one hundred pictured pictures it takes forever to save them all. For the most part I am only looking to add text to a picture for insurance work. Any suggestions?

You don't mention what platform you are using, the Mac has a built in software called Preview, If you are using a PC then there may be something which does the job I don't know. A screenshot of a preview image. You can use any colour for the annotations. Attachment: Screen Shot 2013-10-10 at 08.23.26.jpg (Downloaded 55 times)

Try FastStone Image Viewer it is free and works on Windows.

FastStone is my favorite viewer. It allows a lot of basic corrections like curves and levels and a handy magnifier that is approximately a 100% crop. For an exact 100% crop, you just press "1".

Does it feature text and simple graphics like arrows and rectangles?

Yes there is text, a straight line with arrow, a freehand pencil, etc. Worth downloading and trying out as it is free and doesn't take a lot ov overhead.

I have suggested several times to the developer of FastStone that a compile for Mac would easily double his user base but he isnt interested.

Open the program and add open a jepg. in browser view. Go to EDIT > Draw or just press D on your keyboard and a screen with your pix and a sidebar on the left with the drawing tools. There is help by pressing F1.
