I dont like and wont use the subscription model for software use. If I want it, I try it, then if I like it, I buy it. That works for me. Others dont see the problem but to each his/her own. However that said it seems like Adobe are softening their approach to the subscription model. http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjour...ship-ends.html http://www.dpreview.com/articles/353...icense-expires I have to say that this is a big step in my view and restores some of the lost kudos. To get Lightroom as a 'free' DAM is pretty good news if someone is looking for a good DAM tool. Shame I already have LR5.5 and look forward to LR6. |
