Yes, works well just get the grit off first wit a brush and blower.
My lad Michael when he was three decided to do me a real good turn and 'clean' all my lenses for me... With his dirty fingers. Smears and dirty fingermarks all over.
After preliminary crud removal with a cloth, brush, blower and IPA I finished off with a new lens pen. They came up well.
I never shoot pics without one in my vest pocket i trust it on my 80-200 and my 17-55 and im poor so i worry about all my camera gear but I trust the lens pen to clean things up
I have a similar item.
I tend to use a Giotto blower then a lens tissue/cloth and finally the blower/brush that is similar to a lens pen.
Current theme is Blue
