Some cracking photos there Jonathan. Were they sunrises or sunsets? 

The group of people around the geyser is almost like primeval men worshipping the sun. Excellent study.


I don’t suppose you spent any time sunbathing in a deckchair on this holiday? :lol:

Thanks Eric.
There was daylight as we know it here (greyness mostly except on very clear days) but the sunrise and sunset periods were elongated.

I would not go in the summer - black flies are a real nuisance, to the point that a fly mask is needed!
