| An interesting piece, although I have to say my eyes glazed over a few times... For the majority of leisure photographers mirrorless is probably pretty well capable now. I find it difficult to believe anyone can time the taking of an image to a 250th of a second consistently. It's very important with sport, catching the action at the zenith, a bowler releasing a ball, a batsman striking the ball etc, I guess it's partly knack and experience but a large spade of luck must come into it too. Rapid exposures can't begin to do the trick. The image of a racing car doing well over 100mph I took at Rockingham which is (almost) smack in the middle of the word ROCKINGHAM was the only one of about 40 exposures made at 10/11? fps which achieved what I wanted.  I suppose I could have cheated and used Ps?

Been a bit distracted... There are too many pix to count with the Rockingham background. This was the nearest to what you described JK. Not the best car to pick... A bit battered although I think the drivers like the signs of close encounters, sort of proves they are trying, I think. This car has the wrong front wheel too, they should be black all round, silver denotes a wet tyre wheel for this team, but they had run out of black wheels.

You would do better retyping the lettering, blurring it and superimposing on the original image, having wiped out the original lettering.

| I don't remember that one Eric? 3rd of September, Mini Challenge at Cadwell, all being well I plan to be there.  Or...  I could create a bit more room behind the Mini, might be worth it, I cropped the background, I can always un-crop it. We do have a slight issue with the lettering not being visible through the windows, may try adding local transparency.

| They are at Brands Hatch this w/e I wasn't able to get away unfortunately. I really want to go to Brands. I will show them when they get back. Thanks for the suggestions.

| Think JKs suggestion works best, given the position of the mini with full screen text on the rocking mini. You could try 'backing' the car out of the frame or even tilting the background n a frame for more 3D illusion, like this..... I've got a PS action to do it if you want to try it. ps..to get the lettering through the glass, copy the blurred signage, then use magic wand to highlight the glass areas. Then use Paste Into command, adjust position and darken a fraction. Attachment: image.jpeg (Downloaded 9 times)
