Thought of you today Robert when our local rag carried a pic of vintage cars going up the Honister slate road. Were you out with your camera?

We do get the occasional tour passing through, esp out of season. (The hotels are slightly cheaper.) LOL

Facebook was about the best set of pix I could find.

https://www.facebook.com/honister.mine

I have set the date in my calendar for next year. The VSCC website is locked unless you happen to be a member, which probably costs more than my D200 (and lens!!!) LOL ... I will fumble about and find the full info for next years event later.

Why is it I always seem find out about events, days AFTER they take place?

Honister Pass 1947 gave my father's old Morris a hard time and we had to get out an push it up the last bit. A great start to the family holiday in a cottage near Ennerdale.

Current theme is Blue
