Is it possible to delete tools from the basic toolbar in PS5.1? The one that sits vertically on the left hand side of the workspace.

The problem is that I've installed PS on my 10" netbook to do some editing as I don't have access to a pc. But the silly little screen is too small to display all the tools on the bar and I can't scroll down them. I was wondering if I can remove the tools I don't use from the bar so I can access the ones I do.

Can you change the screen resolution so the tools are smaller? That way you could see the tools and zoom the image to work on detail?

On my Cs6 extended there is a hot spot just above the toolbar that you can click to make the tools appear in double file. It's a very tiny double triangle on my large monitor so you may have to squint.

I dont think there is a way to remove individual tools from the palette.
I think but I dont do it that it is possible to display the palette across the top of the screen. I cant remember how to do it I think that you can drag the palette there.

If you want you can adjust the palette to display in a single or double column as others have suggested.

I am not aware of any way of editing the tool palette ...the double column format was the suggestion I was going to offer, before the lads beat me to it.
