The Nikon D5300 is announced. http://www.dpreview.com/previews/nikon-d5300/ This is what I consider to be the zenith of consumer cameras. What more can a non-professional user want? If the fabled D400 ever releases then it just has to have this specification with a fast AF engine and it will please many/all takers. |

Nikon are pushing out some good lower end cameras but still no D300 replacement that people are waiting for. |

I have to agree with you both and Canon are not in a hurry to replace the 7D. it may be they are both waiting for the other to make the first move. |
