For my flamenco shots I use 3200 ISO and invariably the exposure is usually 1/125 at f4 or there abouts depending on the lighting changes.
Since I shoot RAW I can adjust for +/- one or two stops fairly easily and if the lighting is desperately wrong then I just delete the image anyway.

Notice the blue pool of UV light shown on the floor on right side.  Mixed lighting is an understatement!!.

I do prefer the balance and general handling of the D3S and D3 but the D800 is equally good at high ISO and has more pixels for cropping to reveal sectional detail.

I'm sure that I could manage with two D800 units but I do love using my D3S. ;-)
