Looks like Fuji have caught up with the rest of the high end camera pack, but with one notable difference their cameras are APS-C rather than FF.
So lighter/cheaper telephotos so better for sports and wildlife.
Current version is XH2S (26MP) but they will release a 40MP version XH2R later this year that is more stills biased.

See here for more detail.

Am I tempted.
A little by the 40MP version that will be in the shops by Christmas!
However I have a Fuji GFX100S (102MP) that is a larger MF version of this as it uses a 44x33mm sensor with IBIS.

Results from my XH2S are very good.
Got to say that the XH2S with the 70-300 is very quick at AF lock.

It is almost like using my D3S, Z7 or D850 with the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 AFS VR.

I have got to say that I now feel vindicated that Fuji would deliver eventually on the AF in a mirrorless camera.

Here is an image from the 70-300mm with compliant bee flying in.
RAW image processed in COP v22.3
Full size from XH2S sensor and then a crop to show the bee.

No editing, no sharpening on either, just the crop on the second image.

And the crop to just show the bee.

Eric, the screen on the XH2S is blackout free.

The AF in the XH2S is now as good as my Nikons.
Finally vindicated that Fuji would deliver in a mirrorless camera.  Dont think that my D850 will have much use in future as I can use mirrorless in Fuji or Nikon very happily.

I keep getting error messages on my posts.

Can’t be bothered retyping it all.

Very frustrating.

Did you mean to underexpose by 1.3stops?

I always had a soft spot for the Fuji x system. Never say never.

I know you have a resistance to selling equipment but may I just say that NOW is a good time to explore selling. There is a shortage of used cameras …due to ….a shortage of new cameras.

I decided to sell my Sony A7 and offered it to WEX. Although it was pristine and low actuations (under 5k) I was surprised and delighted to get /accept their offer …..which meant I only lost £170 on the original £1500 purchase.

It prompted me to start a purge of unused tripods, monopods and heads (remnants from my commercial days) raising several hundred pounds which will go towards my energy bill.

Yes, I wanted to keep the detail in the flowers.

Note these images are unedited except for me cropping out the bee section to provide the larger image for inspection.

That holds up to exposure adjustment very well.  Impressive Fuji again.
