Sham they did not do it at once, would have saved me much trouble. Will do the upgrade in the morning and see if my so called faulty card will work now!

Keep us updated please Graham as this is important for D500 users.
I have experienced no problems with my D500 so far.

Apparently there are a huge batch of fixes and new features coming in Spetember in a new D500 firmware.

Dowloaded and installed C1.02 today. First put the Lexar SDHC UHS Class 10 2000x 300MB/s 32 GB card in camera formatted it and took pictures with the D500 got error messages at once as per when camera was new. (I have not used the card since then apart from testing it in one of my pro Sony movie camcorders where it worked very well)

After installing new firmware put card back in camera formatted it and have now shot test stills on NEF and some 10 frames a sec bursts as well as movie at 1080x1920 AVCHD: All now good problem seems to be sorted!

Thanks for the feedback Graham.
Seems that the firmware has fixed the issue with Lexar SD cards.

Let us hope that the next firmware addresses the issues around Snapbridge only and no wifi connection possible eith the D500. This is a real oversight!
