Hi guys, I was a member on the old forums & hadn't posted for a while because I actually found it a bit confusing but this all seems a lot easier... Despite owning my D3100 for nearly 18mths I've really only got to grips with some of the manual settings since joining my local camera club & taking some very basic DSLR courses, both of which I'd highly recommend to newbies like me! I work full-time at the moment but due to health reasons will be having to cut back shortly so on a positive note I'm hoping that will give me more free time for photography, I keep telling hubby it's a relaxing hobby! Welcome back! Hope the health issues aren't too serious, I am almost retired now and wonder how I managed to find time to go to work... If you have any questions about using the D3100 just ask, I am sure someone will know the answer. I am finding mine a very capable camera. although not having more AFS lenses is a nuisance, I still am able to use the older lenses in manual mode.
