What gets me is the spectators at the end of this clip, the look of shock on their faces as the matador (cowardly poof in tight pants) gets what he deserves.

One of my brothers, who is s retired criminal psychologist, is convinced the southern European people are little more than savages, as he puts it.

Watching that disgrace does seem to confirm his theory. Though my own belief is that people who are cruel to animals should be made to endure their own devices, this it seems is the only way scum learn, by suffering what they do to others. Natural justice I call it.

Thus, ultimately if someone likes torturing animals I think they should be put in a pen with some big cats which have already been fed...so the cats can play with them as toys.

I also root for the bulls, in this instance I was pleased to see the greasy coward poof in tights get the bull's horn straight through his lower jaw. I was rather hoping to find a clip where the bull ripped the 'fighter's' insides out.

I fail to understand how this debacle makes a man a real man.....give me a sword, put me in a room with one of those ponses and see what gets delivered. I'd have no qualms about running the bugger through, slowly inch by inch.

This fine example of human cruelty to animals is evident in Spain, obviously, Portugal, Colombia, Mexico and probably a few other spanish speaking sht holes.

Been to a bull fight and Yes it is art but not to my taste. Been to the running with the bulls which is a more 'sporty' or evenhanded situation where it is 'fun' and no killing of the bulls.

I wouldnt go to another correda as I think it is not sport or even good fun just legalised slaughter of 6 bulls for the greater glory of the three matadors.
Running with the bulls is different as there is no kill except of humans. In the Valencia region every year there are 8-12 people killed each year. No problem with this as it is their choice to run with the bull and if it kills them that is their choice.

This is a very personal statement and judgement calls are difficult. If you eat meat then similar calls and questions can be brought into play if you take a vegan stance.

I don't find it art at all, far as I'm concerned it's a bunch of cowards & greasy ponses cruelly killing animals. Put these scum in with some big cats...now that's what I'd call entertainment.

Not here in the Valencia region. Once the bulls are out of the pen they run free in the strreets and the horns are not capped. The horns may be damaged due to poor transportation or the bull rubbing horn on wall.

Like I say the correda (bullfighting where the bull always dies) is not to my taste.

Was a regular attendant of the fights in Tijuana in the 60's. Never got to Monumental but went to the old ring. I enjoy the spectacle and shot many good pictures. Saw some of the finest Matadors of the period perform. As you can probably see from my Avatar I am not adverse to those types of sport. I LIKE to eat red meat properly cooked and have had several good steaks from the bulls killed in Tijuana as there was a fine restuarant near the old ring whose speciality was steaks from those bulls killed in the ring. I also have many friends who do NOT care for either hunting OR bullfighting. They are still friends.

So you would think it acceptable if for example one of your hollywood guffs actually came true and some superior species invaded the earth, and you found yourself and your family being farmed for a barbaric end, involving torments such as punctured lungs, run until your heart exploded, bled to death etc.

Somehow I suspect you would think you were being cruelly treated.

I have absolutely no idea what a 'guff' is but I don't equate animals with people. I'm not a Vegan or even a vegetarian. I will absolutely admit I like red meat. I hunt but don't fish. I use many leather products and even wear a leather jacket. My shoes and boots are almost all leather as i'm not big on sneakers. Most times I eat what I kill but I have been known to shoot coyotes just because I don't like them and I have been known to shoot prairie dogs and woodchucks which I don't eat. I unashamedly admit I enjoy the Bullfights. And I have no problems that you do not. I also don't like chocolate ice cream for what that's worth. You must spend a good part of your time being upset about humanity and their foibles. I'm sure most of us are pretty imperfect.
