My excuse is I am really busy building a car, what's yours?

I will be photographing a car trial today, the oldest continuous motor competition in the world, the Edinburgh Trial, held in Derbyshire.

I hope to be competing next year. Better go, will be late.

Just very busy with work and training (I really need to drop some Kgs). Work is always bad at this time of year for me.

Busy getting an expedition to South America planned for February 2013.
A touristy holiday for the most and the rest who feel more adventurous will come for a trek through 25-50km of jungle to find a waterfall that needs surveying and hasnt been visited for 90 years.

This is similar to the car I am building.

Just got back from 200+ mile trip, met several competitors and I and the boys had a wonderful time. Took loads of pix.

Here is one of a friend, Tony Branson and Sally his wife, from Newcastle in his Marlin 1700 'O' series car. They didn't have a very good day, taking several fails but their son picked up an award I think.

It wasn't dark but under trees and very shady, the flash fall off makes it look dark.

D200, 80-200mm 2.8 and SB28 Flash all on Manual.

Similar excuse for me too......cars.

Got rid of BMW Cooper & acquired an MX5 about a year ago, it takes most of my time and money but a love well worth it.

Work is also a problem for me, currently on contract due to expire soon. Have had a run of psychopathic managers over the last two years, who, frankly should be disemboweled.

Psychopathic management.....the cancer of British industry.

Oh what it must be like to win the big one, and wake up every day asking yourself what do I fancy doing today? For me it would always be fast toys, with a bit of payback every now and then.

No excuses just a man of few words. Photokina produced no surprises and things seem to have reached a plateau.

One thing spooks me and it's the cover pic on the CS6 box. Weird or what>

CS6 Box?

You mean someone actually buys real deliverable stuff rather than downloads?

I've been busy at work and haven't had much time for photography recently. But last week was the Alliance Air show that I never miss!

Thanks! It was a challenging weekend with mostly overcast skies, so (as my wife put it) "the planes look like cutouts stuck on white paper" in a lot of cases.
