After an absence of some considerable time...I am alive a well, and still in the far north of Scotland.
Possibly even considering a move to the Western Isles where I'll be even more remote and cut off from civilisation (not to mention Starbucks)
Just quickly saying hi (as I should be working)
:-O

Good to see you, long time no see!
Mull or Skye? I recommend Mull! I would love to live there.

I think so. Its also home to the Callinish Stones and various other interesting bits and pieces.
Its just an idea as yet. Looking for a new job.

Sadly still stuck in a library Gary, for now, but I'm looking. I'm also working on my black and white photography for the new website revamp.

Don't knock it Jan, better than putting bricks on top of bricks, them covering them with plaster, if it pays the bills then at least you are dry and warm.
I watched Whisky Galore in Oban when I was on holiday in about 1960 I think. Very very funny!

Ah, Jan. Good to hear from you. What a great looking puppy you have.
Moving away from people is fine - away from Starbucks is questionable...you'd better sign up for a scheduled delivery of Yukon Blend !!!

Glad to see you back here Jan.
Next you need to get back to the scuba diving. Your Dive Leader training is best done in warmer water.

I managed to miss your arrival on here, Jan!! I´m trying out island life (sort of). Working in Shetland.

Good to hear from you. Only problem with really remote locations - limits potential photography clients if you really want to get back in.

Shame on you with all that cold water around you.
Water here is currently 14C if you fancy some warm water diving
