Since I've been out of the circuit for a while I decided to join my local camera club just to be able to meet to like minded individuals.

I entered my first ever competition, the autumn photo comp, with a landscape. I've never really had the patience for landscape but I've been giving it s go and the image came from the first trip with my new camera.

Well, it was judged by a professional landscape photographer of some renown, and I came second. What is even better is that I came second to my club president and out of 95 entries!

Glad we are in the same place Jan. ;-)
The FujiX cameras give all the quality of the Nikons as long as you dont need fast AF in low light conditions. If you want better IQ you need to use a Nikon D800/810 with best glass and your best technique!
