JK, Steve - maybe one of you can understand why I'm unable to use my IE9 browser here on the new site to upload an image while it works fine on the old site.  If you look in my gallery on the old site, I just uploaded a photo of my old Acura as a test, then logged into this site and tried to do the same - it wouldn't work.  What is different in the upload process comparing the 2 sites?- EdM

Dont know anything about IE9 but it is very new so it is probably something in the way that it interacts with the new sitle that is not compatible.

Ed you might need to do a huge amount of work to find out what is the problem as it is probably an IE setting that needs changing. I cant test this a I dont use Windows and when I do I use Firefox. IE traditionalyy is full of bugs nd inconsistencies. Microsoft design products against their own products so they have only their own standards to conform to.

If you do a Google search on 'IE9 problems' there are a whole heap of problems!

I'm sure your right, JK, but I get anxious to know the root cause of a problem like this, and Microsoft is more of a hinderance than a help so I avoid trying to get assistance from them.

On a different vein, is the gallery setup so that I could make sub-galleries in my main site? I remember you could do that at the old site? - EdM

Yes you need to go into folder management and create another folder/ sub-gallery. I have several in my gallery.
