One of the nice things about the old site was the display of recently uploaded items to the gallery.

Any chance of implementing this?

Yes, I would like to do that but at present we are trying to get the gallery software enhanced to provide better display to everyone and also better individual user gallery management.

Once that is done (and it hasnt started as yet AFAIK - It's with Steve to talk to a programmer who does work for his Goldwing site) then I will try and get that in place. I really liked that feature as it allowed good vision of what images were loaded last.
In fact I think it might be better to have the last 5-10 images if we have space.

Like the new avatar.
Is that the 200 Mikro that you are using ?

And the alternating display of random images reminding us of the treasures in the Gallery. A while back Armand increased the number of random images visible and it was a big improvement. I think originally there was only one.

That looks significantly bigger than the Nikon 105VR or is it the angle of Ed's photo?

It's the hood. It is quite deep but also the lens is significant!! ;-)
