Adobe have released ACR8.1 which works on CS6 and CC (I think it stands for cloud cuckoo as that is what I think they are at present).

Note:  This is the Candidate Release not the Final version.

JK-

While it will WORK with CS6, it will not have any of the new features when used in CS6. All it will add to CS6 is a small list of new camera raw files and a number of new lens profiles.

To actually have the ACR 8 features, you must have CC

That is true Tom.

However for me ACR is about RAW conversion not the other features that are in CC8 or what ever it is.

My long term idea/request to Adobe has been that ACR be sold as a stand alone program. I dont need new features in Photoshop I just need high quality RAW conversion.

Final version of ACR8.1 and DMG Converter now available.
For ACR8.1 use the CS6 updater.

However this link works if you want it as a download.

Yet another raw converter mentioned in a thread on RFF

Accuraw $29 available in the Apple app store...users claim it is better at conversions than ACR or even Silky pix...
