Yes it is I once again. this time to pass along some info, I found this company that sells all of the cables and adapters for mac and others.

their products are equal in quality to Apple, but they are about half price compared to the big A and the service is fairly fast

PS yes that means I now have two monitors on the iMac COOOOOL
