For the life of me.... The Missus needed a picture copied , and it had to be NOW !! With all the thingies and tingies I have , a Repro-Stand is Not among them,...so, Tripod on the table , Column upside down, anglefinder and flash with diffuser head and took the pic. Upon Inspection by the Missus , or should I say " Scrutinization " , She said " It`s Sharp...good" A Nikon D3S with a Premium zoom-Nikkor 35-70 2.8 afd ..Sharp ..was that ever Doubted ??

If it's not too large I find it easier to use a scanner.

A, re: easier to use a scanner Sometimes the size/variaton and binding (photo-album) means taking a picture is easier. I have done similar tasks, a vertical camera and a flash (pref. mains-powered with a soft box) will make life easier. re: lens My first choice would be any Micro Nikkor, 50 , 60 or105. Regards, Gilbert
