I've seen a number of photographic sideshows recently that all seem to use the same technique of both cropped and uncropped images. For eg... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-26431323 So my question is ...why take the shots so wide that they ALL look better cropped? Why doesn't the photographer zoom or walk in? Why doesn't he JUST show the cropped images? I've always maintained 'inside every good photo there is a great image trying to getout'. But ones you've unleashed it...why go back? Perhaps I am just a dinosaur?
