The high ISOs image quality are claimed by Nikon to be greatly improved. I confess I no longer understand the Nikon strategy of tweaking current models at the expense of filling obvious gaps in their range. It's clear there is a market for a pro DX body with all the performance of their top FX model. They seem to think the D7100 is adequate...but it's not. I am not sure the D800 sensor needs to be in a D4 body? It's primarily a tripod based studio/landscape body to capitalise on its detail...and is less likely to need the speed of use or ISO range that traditionally comes with the bigger housing models.
