Now to learn all the ins and outs with it.
One of the default settings I had a problem with was the default setting for rendering imported images was 'minimal' size for the image display. This speeds up the import but drastically slows down the viewing of images and general use, because it has to render every image every time you view it. That needs setting to 'standard' if it isn't already.
