Seems like betwix and between loses everything :-(

It does accept GPS data via the connector interface to my GPS unit thankfully as that has either Nikon special USB-like connector and/or 10pin connector used on the professional cameras.

I do find this duality of treatment by Nikon to be somewhat strange. I know some professional companies that used to use D70 units as they could then afford to dump the camera if it went wrong. Each photographer was issued with two cameras and one 18-70mm lens and a SB600 unit.
One day of work and orders paid for the camera kit!!!!!
