On the D600 the biggest annoyance for me is that when I push the OK button (in Playback mode) then I get the DLighting rather than an image image magnification.
I cant see a way to change this.
Mine is the same, it wants you to retouch your pix. I have never done this in camera as the originals are overwritten. Don't know if it overwrites the Raw files as well.
If you want magnification yse the + button, a few buttons below the menu button. This can also be used in live view to check manual focus, but is not a digital zoom feature, thankfully;~)
