Found a chip for $30 that can be glued to any Nikon non CPU lens or adaptor like a Tamron Adaptall or a bellows. I'll update when my order arives.

That is very interesting.
That provides some new functionality that I havent seen offered before. Seems like a clever piece of electronics.
