Thanks for the update Graham. Very interesting your comments about using the D800 and its lack of features for quality movies. There seems to be a proliferation of DSLR cameras with video features. My take on this is that if you want a tractor you dont buy a Ferrari or a pedal car but get a tractor. There is a reason why there is a diversified marketplaces. I still dont fully understand the idea of consolidation of electronics devices. It is very seductive to have an all-in-one device but that assumes that you have such low quality standards that as long as it does 'it' then it's quality is good enough. Sorry not for me.
