Nothing wrong with profit if it is shared by those at the front end. Too much going into shareholders pockets and not into staff wages. therefore, you get cheap staff who don't give a damn because they don't get paid too The whole internet price thing tee's me off. If an item is £100 then it's £100. I shouldn't have to sit in the store on my phone ordering it just to get it at that price. The thing is in front of me, it is the same item I will be taking home from the store for £100 regardless of when/where I order if from them. From home, from their store, from the cafe opposite. But to make me go to the cafe and use my phone when its sitting there - no wonder they can't sell anything. It completely rids them of impulse buying customers. There was a time when I would go into a store and plan to buy one thing and come away with 3 or 4. Now, because I know I have to do the order and collect thing for the best price, I only buy the one thing I ordered. Therefore, for not having a consistent price they have actually lost 3 additional sales.
