The D800 is a brilliant camera and it works well under low light conditions both from a high ISO and AF perspective.

However regarding new cameras I want something that has less MP (24MP is good) but in a D800 body! The D600 is OK but it lacks the 10 pin socket and I use that for my GPS data. Also if it is DX so much the better for me and others when I do long telephoto work.

Glad to hear that you are still keeping busy Graham.
If you want a trip to the Valencia area I am sure that we can put you up and I can press you into giving a talk at the local camera club.
