The one I am looking at is LA0448503 which is 20 Watts but I can't see that on the website, I have a weekly flyer with it in.

These are outdoor floodlamps, they seem to contain a single die LED Would like to dismantle and create two arrays of two with two LEDs in each, to illuminate the four corners of the document. That should avoid dark corners which seems the biggest problem with document copying, apart from reflections and lighting hotspots. Good even lighting is the key.

Colour temp isn't too much of an issue, although I have heard that a combination of UV and IR exposures can help to bring up faded images on very old documents.
