But it's not foolproof. I've never used the refine edge feature in CS 5/6 it may be better. But as an old dog I still use my tried and tested actions. It may be no better than the new techniques but I can do it without thinking at the press of an assigned function button. When you have 50 intricate cutouts to do every shortcut helps.
