For me I would rather make an educated choice about my food so if it says beef then it comes from cattle, likewise when it is lamb or mutton it comes from sheep. So if it is beef lesagne then it is lesagne made from meat that comes from cattle. Likewise if it says meat lesagne then I want to know where the meat came from.
If I wanted horse lesagne then I would go looking for it specifically.
