 I upgraded a cell phone. The new phone was $99. OK, let's do this... disable the old phone, transfer contact info from the old to the new phone, transfer the number over to the new phone, do a bunch of paperwork...

When all this was complete I was charged $149. What? It's all very simple, he said. I would receive a $50 rebate on a plastic card after mailing in another large form with lots of little boxes in which I needed to enter various bits of information. 149 - 50 = 99... Grrrr
