Visiting my mum in Ipswich in August I thought there was something wrong with her broadband it seemed so slow, but on phoning the provider they told me that was how it was meant to work.

Being used to streaming HD movies form iTunes to my Apple TV and watching in real time it seemed strange that this would take my mum nearly 24hrs to download, and yet I still believed before this visit that we were 'behind' in Australia.


Like I said before third world country thinking it is still the best country in the world! Today if you stand still you are moving backwards.
