Ah I should have known. Looks nice! I became bitten by the sports car bug a year ago, got myself an MX5, ok Japanese BUT...extremely reliable, and, very fast once I'd modified the cooling circuit and got the ECU map spot on with the engine temp. I like the fact that there is absolutely nothing on this car I can't tackle myself, no such thing as special tools. Put an induction kit on it and a hi-flow CAT. Very thirsty though lol, but such a delight to drive. raises a few grins I can tell you. As for your A series I note you have an alternator conversion....good idea that! My late father had many A series engined cars, so did I years ago. Never forget that ridiculous clutch release bearing....cast steel ring with two lugs, containing a plain carbon thrust race. Bloody thing never lasted long and when it went through you had horrible spring-on-steel noises. Did you know?.....some people fit beemer K1000 heads to A series blocks & convert to fuel injection.
