JK, it's certainly your call, but I think it would make sense to delete the thread. Why do we want to leave something in the forum that some could reasonably feel is offensive.

I was about to add a comment but decided not to as I really did not want to be in the thread once the comments were included.

No problem.
I can edit all/any posts but I'd rather just leave them and hope that everyone is or becomes aware that we all need to be cautious about different levels of sensibilities and so be considerate to other people's feelings.
