More recently with the advent of the 7d (not to mention the 60d, 5DMkIII and their new radio triggered flash) it's becoming a lot harder to bash them and their users for their past shortsightedness
I hope you get on well and keep us posted with what you love and hate about the system
Also I posted a link to an excellent 7d guide which opened my eyes to some of its strengths, somewhere on the old forum. I'll try and link to it if I remember when I have more time
Incidentally, Canons history has always been to chase the pixels, whose to say the 7D and much later the 5dmkIII replacement won't have you jumping back to nikon?
Btw, do we need a section specifically for Canon, Fuji etc since we have now come full circle and begun using many different brands again!
