Glad to hear that you have made the decision Iain.
It is a difficult and bold decision but speaking from personal experience a very liberating one. I have less money now than before when I was consulting but I have more than enough.


No problem if you swap to Canon, I had the feeling that you were looking at other kit.

Dont worry you can still hunt here.
We will enjoy you photos even if they were taken with a Canon.

Have you looked at the new Olympus OM-D it has a stunning range of long lenses. It is 4/3 CCD and the camera handles like an OM2.

If I was changing camera ranges I would look very seriously at this.
EVL is the future. The current pixel count and refresh rate may not be quite as good as we see in an OVL but it is getting close.
My new Fuji XPro1 has an exceptionally good EVL.
