 Sorry late replying. The software is on your PC, but it checks the internet every month to make sure you are paying your bill as stated already.

For just PS probably not a great idea, but at the moment I have installed every single package and I use four regularly for a very affordable monthly fee. I'm looking forward to using Adobe Premier, a step up from iMovie!
