Finally managed to get out for our first photographic outing of the year.

A local country house opened its acres to the public and we seized the moment....despite it being an overcast day and not ideal for photography.

It was also an anniversary (of sorts) for us ....57years since we first started dating. (yes we remember the actual day and the hour!!!!) Sigh

What better way to celebrate together than a trundle through the outdoors with cameras?

It was also the first full outing with the new Fuji XS20. Very impressed how it handles colour and exposure. Many of the exposures needed little or no adjustment at all.
Ergonomics are a different matter. The shutter button presses too far down onto the the half press....it's too easy to take a photo by accident. Annoyingly the joystick for focus position adjustment is to close to the thumb. I repeatedly lost the focus point to one side of the frame or the other just holding the camera in the hand...so I missed subject focus a few times...and pressing the middle (unlike most other cameras) doesnt quickly recenter the focus point. You have to do 2 steps to recenter it.

Anyway for first outing it wasn't too bad...stiull need to learn its idiosyncrasies.  Here's some photos.....
