Not often you see a Yaffle taking a bath! Click here to comment on this image. A bit of grass between its legs and by the tail…but not bad automatic masking. Click here to comment on this image. Footnote: I did actually tone down the bird to better match the contrast of the background image afterwards ( maybe a tad too much) One of the things AI gets wrong sometimes imho is matching the contrast of the replacement background to the subject cutout. In this instance the brighter punchier original image didn’t quite look right to my eye against the dull pond image produced. Interesting howler……On another image of the woodpecker sitting in a tree I asked AI to replace the tangled branches with the bird perched on a single branch with a lake behind. The resulting chimera had an extended beak of a kingfisher but the colours of the woodpecker. AI clearly only had shots of kingfishers sitting on branches over water.
