Graham and I have discussed this before and there is no doubt the Sony A7 is quite bad for this old problem of dust. The A1 is reported to have a blind that drops down when the lens is removed to specifically address this retrograde issue. It's disappointing (assuming there isn't a specific issue on this occasion causing this) that Sony haven't mastered this issue, banished by Nikon nearly a decade ago.
