Well if implemented then the days of worrying about correct exposure may be gone.  However as always correct exposure will probably deliver other benefits.  
It is then the combo of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to get your creative design concept satisfied.
HDR becomes a thing of the past as it is not needed.

Like the article says this is still early days and the test sensor is only 12MP.
