Nice photo, what sort of car is that?
Bentley. 6.75L V8 twin turbo. Probably because of the weight of the armour belt.
Do not confuse the bonnet mascot with the traditional Rolls Royce winged spirit, this car has the St George & dragon mascot.
Nice colour don't you think? Traditionally the Monarch's transport colour was black, though I notice recently a shift toward this deep burgundy, same colour as the Royal barge. However black may be for state functions.
Don't know if this is diamond jubilee colours or just a change in taste, or some uniformity with the colour of the Royal Standard flag, but goes well with gold none the less.
There's probably some Royal protocol, somewhere.
