Brings to mind the Irishman when asked the way to a remote Irish village by a tourist, scratched his head for a minute and announced: "Well you know, If I was going there, I wouldn't be setting off from here..."
Dont you love the Irish?
Its the only place in the world where you can walk across a seemingly empty square at 3 in the morning and pass a stranger who says “It's yerself thenâ€.
Having said that, when visiting my father in Yorkshire, we sometimes took a walk along the canal bank and every stranger we passed said “Nah thenâ€. Even started doing it back.
