had a stomach churning problem with my D7000 this morning (to close to my holiday for problems),switched it on it wouldn't switch off or at least the top display would not .removed battery and put back in ,switched on again same problem .luckily a friend was with me and suggested looking on google for any similar problems ,yep it seems to be a common fault ,one guy suggested a hardware update ,but mines already done . the problem is actually with the card recognition part and the solution is simply formatting BOTH CARDS simple fix but worth knowing about ,camera now perfect again
