I have two units.
An older GeoPic II which only has 10 pin cable.
Micnova that works on all my cameras as it has a detachable cable that I can change between the Nikon 10 pin or other custom interfaces.
Dont know if it will work with the D90 that you have but it should as these are standard interfaces.
Micnova would work on your D90.
